CONSULTANTS FOR INSTRUCTION (CFI) was founded 25 years ago when DR GIL WOOLARD was working as a school administrator, grants writer, teacher educator, and as a CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI). Hence, the name CFI. He has written the signal books of his trade and dozens of published articles, over 200 approved grants, taught over forty college courses on Grantwriting, Program Planning & Development, Vocational-Technical- Adult Education, and trained literally 100s of grantwriters, educators and business-industrial trainers. He has conducted dozens of community and business needs assessments and evaluations, and serves today on retainer with several schools and businesses as a Grants Consultant & educational program advisor. He has worked with both national & international clients and as an adjunct professor for four major colleges in South Carolina. He is active in community, civic and professional associations having received numerous awards for his services. Client references & referrals available.

(EIN) number of #58-2480696, Dr. Gil is listed as "General Partner" since wife Betty frequently helps with his consulting and writing. She is an unretired English and Marketing teacher. Both Graduated from East Carolina University and hold B.S. and M.A. degrees, as well as public school teacher certification in both Carolinas. Gil's EdD degree is from N.C. State University where he was a national EPDA Fellow and Community College Intern.
